Abhishek Banerjee says

Trinamool Congress (TMC) All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee emerged from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office late Monday evening following a grueling 11-hour marathon interrogation. Speaking to reporters outside the CGO Complex in Salt Lake, the Diamond Harbour Member of Parliament maintained a highly defiant posture despite the lengthy questioning session. Banerjee stated that he remains fully prepared to cooperate with federal investigators and will willingly return for further interrogation sessions if summoned by the agency again in the coming days.

Addressing the media corps gathered outside the central agency's regional headquarters, the high-profile TMC leader launched a sharp offensive against the central government, characterizing the relentless investigative pressure as a textbook case of political vendetta. Banerjee alleged that the ruling establishment at the Center is actively deploying federal law enforcement bodies to execute a deep-rooted political conspiracy. He claimed that these recurring investigative summonses are part of a calculated strategy designed to intentionally create rifts and fracture the organizational unity of the Trinamool Congress.

In a highly emotional and politically charged statement, the Diamond Harbour MP reinforced his absolute resilience against external legal and political pressure. "Even if my throat is cut, there will be no surrender; the fight will continue," Banerjee declared, signaling that he has no intention of bowing down under agency pressure. The TMC heavyweight reiterated that his party would continue its ideological and political battle on the streets of West Bengal, framing the ongoing legal scrutiny as a battle between regional resistance and central high-handedness.
